The Jeep Wrangler is available as a compact SUV with two doors or a midsize SUV with four doors, depending on the trim level. The Jeep Wrangler Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X are available with two or four doors. The Jeep Wrangler Sahara is a midsize SUV that’s only available with four doors.
The Jeep Wrangler is also available as a plug-in hybrid SUV, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. It’s the
first and only electrified open-air SUV. This Jeep PHEV SUV is available in five trim levels and starts at $50,695 MSRP.
Jeep Wrangler Performance: The new Jeep Wrangler engine is a 285-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive (4WD). There’s also a 270-hp 2-liter turbo engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine is standard on the Sahara trim and available on all other trims. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe PHEV SUV is powered by a 2-liter turbo PHEV engine. The Jeep Wrangler’s towing capacity is between 2,000 and 3,500 pounds.
Jeep Wrangler Off-Road Capabilities: All Jeep Wrangler models sport the Trail Rated® badge, signifying its place as the best offroad SUV. To earn this badge, this Jeep SUV has completed intense off-road testing for traction, water fording, ground clearance, maneuverability, and articulation.

The available full-time Selec-Trac® 4×4 System switches from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive automatically when driving through mud, rain, or snow. The Wrangler Rubicon trims have a standard with a part-time Rock-Trac® System. There’s also an available full-time Rock-Trac® System to provide even more control and torque.
Jeep Wrangler Exterior: The Jeep Wrangler exterior features hard-top and soft-top options for a closed or open-air driving experience and 17-, 18-, or 20-inch tires. It also features Dana® solid front and rear axles. This Jeep SUV is the only SUV with both solid front and rear axles.
Jeep Wrangler Interior: Inside the cabin, the Jeep Wrangler features the Uconnect® 5 infotainment system with a 12.3-inch center display and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. The available Uconnect® 5 NAV provides on- and off-road navigation for daily drives and weekend adventures. The Jeep Wrangler interior also offers available heated 12-way power front seats and best-in-class rear legroom on the four-door midsize SUV models.
