The Whitten family has been in business since 1920 and while the body shop wasn’t added until 1999, our office staff has a combined 120+ years in the collision repair industry, in and around Richmond. Our experience ensures that we have the insurance contacts and vendor relationships to help move your vehicle through the repair process as quickly as possible.
While we are a Certified Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Mazda, and Fiat dealer, our six technicians have 150+ years of experience repairing all makes and models, from the economy vehicle to the most expensive luxury vehicles on the road and from minor cosmetic damage to the most severe collisions. Our body and paint technicians are I-Car Platinum Certified in their area of expertise and our Body Technicians are I-Car Platinum welding certified. These certifications and continuing training assure that your vehicle is repaired per the manufacturer’s recommended processes and to pre-accident condition. In addition, we provide our technicians with state of the art equipment and materials, including our paint booth, color matching systems, welders, two computerized frame and uni-body alignment machines and two computerized wheel alignment machines.
We have cultivated a close, Direct Repair relationship with many insurance companies, both large and small but we have contacts and will work, with you and on your behalf, with any insurance company or adjustment company. Additionally, we will also work with you directly if you choose not to involve your insurance in your needed repairs.
Our Direct Repair insurance companies conduct Customer Service surveys to measure our CSI index numbers. We consistently score OVER a 9 out of a possible 10. We believe this is partly because we consider anything below a 10 as failing. We strive to give every customer the 10 experience and ask our customers to please let us know if at any time they do not feel that they are receiving 10 level service! It is our way of showing how much we care about our customer’s repair experience AND the repairs being done to your automobile.
